{Get} Anne Marie Chagnon at Marten Arts

I purchased my first piece of Anne Marie Chagnon to wear to a gala event I had been invited to photograph.  I had never been to a “gala” before and I was a little unsure of the dress code.  Since I was working this event, I knew I wanted to blend into the background and go relatively unnoticed but because it was such a special event, I didn’t want to blend in that much!  I pulled out my faithful black cocktail dress but I needed to add a piece of statement jewelry, some wearable art!  I found Anne Marie Chagnon at Marten Arts in Bayfield and fell in love!  Anne Marie’s work is bold and distinctive and utilizes magnetic pewter, limpid glass, luminous resin, lavish gold!  It was exactly what I needed!  Since the event I have grown particularly fond of my necklace and earrings and find that they are the most worn pieces in my collection.   Loving the pieces and not having a gala event to attend every week I find that I pair them with jeans and t-shirts or work attire too!

All of Anne Marie’s work is handmade in Montreal and is available in Ontario art Marten Arts Gallery in the beautiful village of Bayfield.
