I love it when form meets function.
These clever little bells from Dring Dring are not only charming and fun, they are a practical way to let everyone know you’re coming through! Cute for kids’ bikes and retro enough for adults too, Dring Dring bicycle bells are Canadian-made using environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing processes.
The base coat of the bells is applied by a local organization which offers employment opportunities to young people from all backgrounds. Dring Dring uses eco-friendly paints without solvents or toxic fumes. The painted bells are then baked, making them resistant to all types of weather.
You can win your own Dring Dring bicycle bell from Ruralist, compliments of Hive of Bayfield.
All you need to do is “like” Ruralist on facebook and find the photo of the Dring Dring bell. Tell us where your favourite picnic spot is by adding your comment underneath the photo.
Be sure to check out Hive’s facebook page and “like” it too: Hive of Bayfield stocks fantastic inventory, including these Dring Dring bells.
Contest closes Sunday, July 8, 2012 at midnight. Winner will be drawn on Monday, July 9 and notified via facebook.

Amanda Pawelec - My favorite picnic spot is on the Port Franks Private Beach..I love the low water levels.where the beach is..Great for a walk..great for wait boarding..and best of all..it’s the most relaxing..romantic spot to have a picnic..whether your with family..or friends or that special someone…and most of all I love biking from my work place at Duffy’s Cove..packing up a nice vegetarian lunch…and biking into port franks..
RBbell - Good post ! Beautiful collection of Bicycle Bells. There are many styles available now: large and small, traditional and modern, subdued and colourful. But looks aside, bicycle bells can differ in their functionality – which is something we don’t always consider when choosing one.
