{Meet} Sarah Koopmans – The Ruralist Intern

We are over-the-moon-thrilled to announce the latest addition to our team: Sarah (our new Ruralist intern)!

Sarah has been invaluable behind the scenes since the birth of the Ruralist but we are pleased to officially welcome her on board this summer as she continues her degree in Media Information and Technology at the University of Western Ontario.  Sarah is an avid blogger (we are excited to have her voice added to the Ruralist magazine), she loves to read and to write, and I happen to know she’s a great cook who loves local food and small town living.  Sarah has been a ruralista since long before it was cool to be rural!

Sarah will be a contributor to the magazine and you will be able to get to know her better over on Facebook and Twitter.  She will also be a helping hand behind the scenes as we launch phase two of Ruralist.ca, the LIST, which will be coming even sooner with Sarah’s added expertise.

You’ll be able to get to know Sarah over the next few weeks as we share some of her favourite rural Ontario products, locations and services, as a long time rural resident I’m sure she’s got a few insider secrets to share will all of us.
